We're No Angels

One of the best movies in my list is the one called “We’re No Angels”. Two convicts played by Robert De Nero as Ned and Sean Penn as Jim escape from the prison with some help from fellow prisoner. When they escape the prison, their life gets tougher as they have to hide away from the security personals. While trying to cross the border, they meet an old lady who mistakenly assumes them to be the priests. They are then accompanied by other priests. Before they could cross the border to a safe land, everything gets tangled. All the people had already begun to take those two converts as fathers.

Another interesting character of the movie is the one played by beautiful and charismatic Demi Moore who has a small daughter but the child cannot speak or hear. On the final day on one of the festivals, that small child gets drowned in the river. Then unwillingly Ned jumps off the bridge to save the child. After bringing the child back to the shore a miracle happens. That small child utters a word despite her inability to speak pointing to Ned saying “Convert”. This is when they get caught up. Then he gets a very hard time convincing all the priests about everything, the head of the priest then pardons him by considering the courageous work done by him in saving that child.

They are then freed to cross the border. It is a nice movie and there are no boring scenes at all in the whole movie. I loved it from the beginning to the end. Great Movie.
