Radha, as the name itself suggests, the book is an autobiographical novel written by Krishna Dharawasi. The story starts in a peaceful village called Braja with Princess Radha and her friend’s childhood fun. Krishna is one of the most frolicking, dynamic guys in the neighborhood with whom many girls are magnetized including Radha herself.
We normally think of romance when the names Radha and Krishna are jointly pronounced. This book also contains romance but there is more than just romance. The pain, trouble, sorrow, grief of the weaker sexes of a society has been portrayed very well. The pain a girl has to bear when her beloved moves to another city and even worse when she hears that her beloved marries some other girl, has been depicted in this novel. The war in the ancient times between Kauravas and the Pandavas is also combined in which the negative sides of the Pandavas violation in the war has been shockingly presented.
All in all it is a nice novel and the best part of this novel is that, the inner feelings, phases of sadness and happiness of women have been beautifully displayed by a male writer. It is indeed fun to go through this book.
