Undoubtedly google is the best place to seek information on different things. Whatever the subject matter is, they are found in this search engine. Every now and then, goggle has been bringing new features which are quite useful. Apart from google, one of the very useful to everyone is wikipedia. It can be basically taken as web encyclopedia. As the name suggests, wikipedia has got every, possible information regarding every thing. This has been my favorite site for the last couple of months.

One day I was so curious to know something more about a rock band “Skidrow” and instead of searching it in google, I browsed the wikipedia page and there it was, a complete history and a lot of information of the band. The other I remember was when I needed to learn about a college in America. If I had searched for that particular college in google, I would have got thousands of search results and browsing them all to get the precise information would be hectic. Wikipedia displayed enough information that I was looking for in a single click. From then whenever I am in need to learn something, wikipedia has been the only web that I browse. Whether it’s about entertainment, geography, history medical terms and etc wikipedia has it all. The greatest of all the web pages in my opinion is wikipedia and I refer this url to everybody for obtaining required information.

On The Top Of A Hill

There were several groups of people and in each group there were people of all ages and classes. They all were heading towards the top of a hill. Every group chose their own path to the top because, each group saw uniquely different object at the top. Some saw a beautiful castle, some saw a large tree, some even saw a bright moon like object and every group saw something different.

Everyone knew that the distance between their first steps to the top was the same, they only chose different paths. The journey included a lot of hassles, struggle and not to forget the joy as well. Every member of all groups was quite happy when they started their journey. In fact each group could see the other group marching towards the top quite distinctively.

When all the people were half way up the hill, one person from one of the several groups shouted at the other group’s members telling them to join his path instead. Some poor fellows left their group and joined the other. With this, the switching of people from one group to the other became frequent. The members of one group would try to bring in the other group’s people either by hook or by crook. Each group started insulting, poking and making fun of the other. They all had separate opinions of the top of that hill and claimed their opinions to be the only truth. They even started guaranteeing that the path they were taking could only lead to the top of the hill. Every group had their own thoughts.

When they started poking at each other, the argument took a violent shape. Now they were ready to kill each other and thus the journey became a brutal combat between each group.

This is how mankind exists in the world right now. The top of the hill is nothing but a dead end to life. The different path they chose is religion. Everyone is right in their own way.

One of the most stupid academic question that I have ever been asked "Students, what age is the boy who was born 14 years back?". And it took me several minutes to click why were they giggling. Never came across such zero, have you? (no he he)

Balanced Diet Vs. Physical Exercises

Staying healthy and keeping yourself in shape is not an easy task. When one gets older, the physical fitness and strength gradually declines. People would always want to be as energetic and fit as they used to be in their youth phases. For this reason, people indulge themselves in different form of physical exercises to keep them healthy and fit.

Some times back ‘aerobics’ gained a lot of popularity which of course helped everybody stay in good shape. With the life getting busier and busier every day, they did not have enough time to start or continue with their aerobics. The popularity of such aerobics then lost its composure. Other such activities include Tai-Chi, Shaolin or Whushu all being Chinese art and other marital arts as well. But the marital arts became more efficient in self defense techniques rather than a mere physical exercise.

Yoga was also one of the most popular forms of such exercises that people got into. For the first timers, yoga seemed to be too much more difficult and thus yoga is now practiced on rare occasions by rare people only. Many, health related books regularly publish simple day to day tips and tricks to remain healthy like using the staircase instead of elevators and escalators, rope skipping in the morning, jogging a few kilometers ever day in the morning and etc. But what I feel is, a balanced diet is more than enough to help keep a body healthy. Proper combination of nutrition and consuming them in time is the only thing that helps anyone, maintain their shape. Junk foods, delicious dishes with edible chemical ingredients should be avoided. Fruits are the real source of such nutrition and have no side effect of any kinds. So if you want to remain healthier as you grow old, you should always be cautious on your diet.

Raising Child

Many people regard a child as a bud and innocent. But the difference between a bud and a child is that a bud grows into a beautiful flower whereas a child may not always turn out to be a good adult in social perspectives. Therefore raising a child is the most complex task which needs a lot of care and attention.

Getting children enrolled in a very good school only is not sufficient for their development. Home is the first school and thus parents the first teachers. From the very beginning of the child’s phase of ability to learn or imitate from their surroundings, they should be taught good things and help them determine bad things. Parents should start with social norms, values and attitude while teaching their children the basic things. A proper guidance and care could only develop a child into a good adult.

Present time is the time which is really moving at a very fast pace. In this context, the parents seem to be unable to look after their children of pay little attention what their children are up to. This somehow would have a terrible impact on the children’s future. According to studies, more parents are quite happy to let their children stay at home and surf adult web sites so that they could completely be kept away from drugs and other criminal activities. This however can only be regarded as a compromise because letting children getting indulged in such activities is in no way a good thing. So these are the difficulties that need to be overcome when it comes to raising child. So raising a child is a very complicated thing.

2nd Largest Company

Every now and then a new brand is launched with a big blah. Some times ago when a new multi nation brand was introduced in the local market, they used to call themselves the number one company of the world. These great brand included Sony, LG, Samsung, Philips in the television sector. Upon what basis, they used to introduce these brands as the number one brand of the world? Was it the market share, market value, popularity, production, service or it's brand image?

This practice however has slightly changed in the local market in Nepal. All the world's most famous brands are already under operation at present. Now whenever a new brand is launched we can see hear or read them claiming to be the world's second largest company. Among such self proclaimed second largest company of the world includes some big names like TCL, Haier, Toshiba etc.

All these so called second largest companies of the world are not as popular as the ones who claim to be the number one company. That is why the sole distributors put up the tag "World's second largest company" at the end of their official logo.

This kind of competition is most common in the home appliance sectors. People are now quite aware of the brands and won't get fooled with such self pro claimed facts.

Depression A Disease

We should consider depression as one of the most harmful diseases. Depression can lead to a very hard life and could even end up in drugs and suicide. The one and only way to cure depression is a positive attitude towards life. Too much of thinking nonsense causes insomnia and when a body doesn’t get enough rest it gets weaker and weaker. The physical weakness affects mental strength and thus one’s thinking ability also decreases.

Too much of expectations towards anything and being too much negative can cause depression. There is no medication for such illness. I was one so depressed but luckily I got over it quite easily. Thinking that I am a son and this small hurdle should not be bothering me much. I have a lot of big troubles still on the way and this tiny problem should not be much of a big deal to me. I had started to think and wonder about people in my neighborhood as if I am one of them. I even used to worry about Bush and Laden. This is really nonsense which I realized. When you are simply playing with your mind, you reach to that point where you put yourself in other’s shoes and think of facing or solving their problems when you are not done with your own personal problems.

So depression is a hazard and can only be cured with good counseling, inspiration, motivation and will power. If anyone is totally depressed around you, you can be a healer with your words of inspiration.

Women Against Men

It is true that women are dominated in all parts of the world including the most developed countries. It is more obvious in Asian countries and no one needs any proof or information in regards to men dominating women. The world knows that men have always been dominating women. There have been a lot of efforts put on to this matter for uplifting womanhood in a society. Some of the societies have changed to some extent and some have not changed a bit. So to have a society where men and women are treated equally needs a lot of time.

So in a male dominating society, simply showing or expressing the lows of women can do nothing but weaken women more. They should not be pathetic and are not supposed to show sympathy towards themselves. It is about time to come up strongly and prove to the world that they are not the weaker sex. They need to prove them that they are capable of doing everything that any men are capable of. We can't however neglect the fact that there are women in the world at present who have done enough to prove their strength and ability.

In a society like ours, we already know how women have to struggle and what phase are they running through right now. There is no point showing or crying for help because they are dominated. They need to initiate their first steps right now and get respected. My last line to such women, "Don't be pathetic, rise up and snatch the respect that you deserve."

Communism Vs. Capitalism

Communism and capitalism do not merely indicate politics only. In fact these are the categories of a society. When people got civilized, they learned and found a lot about a society and its factors. Therefore a society can basically be categorized under these two classes, communist and capitalist society.

In a communist society there are no classes of people in regards to wealth. Each and every single person of a society works as a labor and is also the proprietor of the firm they work for. There are no landlords or wealthy people who employ poorer people and none of the persons of the society posses a lot of wealth. There is no gap between the rich and poor people in this society. Everyone works for the government.

In a capitalist society, there can be wealthy people as well as poor people. The poorer people works for the landlords and wealthy businessmen. A big businessman has the capacity to start a large factory where a lot of employees are employed and they are paid according to their skills. The owner earns a huge profit from this factory and the labors get only the stipulated amount of wages. In this society rich gets richer and the poor gets the hardest of time in regards to finance.

However, at present the existence of a communist society is far beyond imagination. We have already witnessed the collapse of such nations in the world in the past two decades or so. Everyone in the world right now believes in capitalism and it is the only source of social welfare and not communism.

As the embodied souls continuously pass from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.

For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain.
