Popeye

In a small town there lives a man who is very hard working and loyal to his work. He works in an office in which he has a very rude boss. He is Popeye and the rude boss is Bluto.

Again, there is a very romantic man (Popeye) who falls in love with Olive Oyl and there is yet another man who comes in between their romance and he happens to be Bluto.

Popey is a small vendor who sells vegetables in the main crossroad of the city and he meets a very bullying customer Bluto.

Popeye plants green vegetables in his backyard only to be destroyed by cattle which belongs to Bluto. This is what "Popeye The Sailor Man" all about. The characters in this comic is limited to only three to four characters which makes it even more special but the rivalry never ends. Popeye being a good man always end up in a positive note whereas Bluto being a crook all the time gets bashed up by Popeye. Bluto having the advantage of physical structure can never manhandle Popeye. Popeye after taking spinach is always stronger and tougher than Bluto in spite of his relatively smaller physics. On every occasion Popeye comes up top against Bluto. With all these harsh punishments Bluto still hasn't learned any lessons and continues to bug Popeye.

This is what makes Popeye a very good animated series to watch. Though there are other big names in the world of comic, Popeye The Sailor Man too lies among the best loved comic character of all time.
