Criminal Arrested After Thirty Years

Charles Shobraj Gurumukh who is known to be one of the most wanted criminal in many countries is now in prison. I had never heard of Charles Shobraj as the crimes he committed here in Nepal dates a couple of decades back when I wasn't even born. However in recent times I have come to hear about a film called "The Serpent" which has been made based on the crimes of Charles Shobraj and some books on Charles Shobraj. I haven't watched the movie but I am reading a book called Charles Shobraj's crimes which is a translated version of local language. I still have almost half of the book to finish but have learned a lot about Charles Shobraj. He has been charged of killing a Canadian and an American.

Charles Shobraj has still been defending himself by saying that he was not here when the murder took place. The incident had taken place some twenty to thirty years back. After such a long time when he was in town, he was arrested. It was a very bad idea of Charles Shobraj to come back to the town where he had murdered two people a long time back. Now that he is behind bars but has a lawyer fighting for him. Even if he escapes the murder case, he would immediately be charged of looting and using fake passports or he could also be handed to the foreign authority as he is in the wanted list in so many countries.
