I never bothered to spend time in my office on weekends, until yesterday. I had never ever complained about working extra but I did yesterday as the gathering that was taking place on that very day was a very special one to me and I was on the verge of missing it.
I had an opportunity to get socialized with people whom I met in a networking community site. The gathering was scheduled at 12 in the afternoon.
I jumped out of my bed at around 10 and left for the office immediately hoping that I would be available for the gathering at around 11 am. But things did not work my way. I had to remain at the office till 3.00 or 4.00 pm. I was really depressed because of not being able to show up at the gathering. I was really very sad and it was way too late to go to the place where we were supposed to meet and finally I thought of giving Kirathang a call so that I could go to him wherever he might be and for me it's better late than never. To a great surprise he with other fellows was together in a cultural show. While talking over the phone, he told me to come over to that place, Manbhawan. It was already 5.00 but I was too happy about me getting a chance to meet them. I wasn’t really sure about that place, but I was in no way of letting this opportunity go off so I headed towards Pulchowk. After some hassles I finally made it to Manbhawan. I called Kirathang from a nearby shop and told him to come at the gate. While I was heading towards the gate I saw two boys walking towards my direction. I recognized them immediately and yelled at them. Man! it felt like I had won a million dollar lottery. These two guys were great. Kirathang a big fellow whereas Khambule relatively smaller than Kirathang. I had already learned about these two guys that they were intimate buddies of each other. I thought to myself, “these guys must be Laurel and Hardy or Flintstone and Barney” and I chuckled a little. I introduced myself as Chewan and talked for a while. We then headed inside the premises. After wandering here and there, we finally spotted Raja Dai. And meeting Raja Dai was a hell of an experience. Though we had chatted online only for a couple of days, there was already some kind of bond in between us and he was already a bullying elder brother. I went to him and he greeted me with a large drunk, affectionate, grin, “Chewan! Why are you late? Did your clock just strike 12?”
