It was some years back when I had gone to the disco club for the very first time. Dancing and crowds never lured me in anyways but a guy insisted me to give him company to the club. The guy used to be a frequenter in such clubs. Without any excuses left, I had to go. In the first place I already disliked the darkness and the loud music. I love rock and roll so hip hop music irritates me. I wondered why people love disco clubs so much when there’s nothing to have fun.
The darkness, the irritating music and people just jumping around like insane.
The darkness, the irritating music and people just jumping around like insane. That was the first time that I had entered any discotheques, I was very unaware of the dance floors or the furniture or the decorations. There was a knee height bar and that dissected the floor with the dancing area. I was simply walking around the dark and the bar at some point came in between me. I just stepped over the bar and kept walking. A man from nowhere came to us and punched me and my friend as well. He then rudely told us to get out of the hall. I had no any idea why we were being forced outside and why were we physically punished. He then led us to the exit; there was a counter at the exit and everyone there were asking the guy who punched us, if we were in possession of some drugs or weapons. The guy spoke nothing and simply pushed us out of the gate.
Later we came to know that leaping over the bar was prohibited. Had we known the rule I at least leaving my friend aside wouldn’t have violated any rules of the discotheque. The man who punched us was to be the bouncer who did not even cautioned about anything and simply landed his fist right in the chest almost causing my breathing to halt. Well that was the first experience of my visit to a discotheque and never dared to go to such clubs till now.
