I head to the office in the morning at around 8.30. The first person that I happen to greet is Shivv who owns a small shop in the first intersection which I have to pass. After him, I meet and see many others as well. There are some people who in my regards need to be acknowledged and there are some people who deserve nasty avoidance.
The first of the above mentioned class of people include Sunil Dai. No matter how speed I am, I stop for a while to shake hands with him and do a couple of sentence conversation. The most regular person on the way I meet is Kishor Dai and I simply smile and wave my hand at him though I don’t stop for him. He is the first person to teach me how to play guitar chords.
Robin, one of a good friend of mine in the past lies in the second class of people. Nowadays I have to avoid him and simply act as if I didn’t see or notice him.
And sometimes, to my great surprise I meet some girls who approach me with a smile which confuses me a lot. After stopping for them, then only I realize that they are my little sister’s friends. I feel awkward when they smile at me and I don’t smile back because I am not familiar with them.
Just before I reach the office, there is a group of guys who are the dadas of the area and they are the ones at whom I should not make any eye contact. If done so, they may come straight up to me and start bashing me as there had been a small misunderstanding between those guys and me. And when I reach the office, there are people who are all greeted with a big smile from me. No matter how bad and rude they seem to be, they are those people with whom I share the whole day. There are many such occasions, when I have verbally fought with every single one of them but at the end of the day, they help me and so do I. Those verbal fights simply could have turned into a brawl, had it been outside the office premises. But within the office boundary, everyone is supposed to maintain discipline. This is why there have been no physical fights and just heated verbal arguments. And when it gets about time to leave the office, only a few of my colleagues remain, and I warmly bid farewell to them.
As soon as I come back home, that is the time which I enjoy most. I log in to the internet and that’s the moment when I rejuvenate myself. After a long tedious day, I start a whole new chapter meeting people online and writing stuffs.
