Aung San Suu Kyi

I have always been wondering about “Aung San Suu Kyi”. She is the Nobel Peace Prize winner who is very popular in the world. The only thing which pokes me all the time is that, she has been in detention for the last ten years and even more. Apart from being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991, Aung San Suu Kyi has been honored by other such recognitions as well.

The only news in the local newspapers states that she has been under house arrest. Such a person who is a Nobel Peace Prize winner is living under detention and where are the human rights activists and what are they doing? What have the world's biggest diplomats been doing for Aung San Suu Kyi?

A personality who has been recognized as a peaceful person along with the Nobel Peace Prize honour, living under house arrest for the last ten years is totally absurd. I am still very much puzzled with the Burmese administrative acts against Aung San Suu Kyi.
