Sometimes miracle happens. It may sound absurd to so many but small miracles happen but slip away unnoticed. Similar thing happened to me today, though not a miracle, it was the moment where my wish was met with some help from a co-incidence.
Today is Thursday, we had a load shedding from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm. I finished my work in my office and headed home. I was already feeling bored due to the load shedding schedule. Staying in the dark from 6.30 to 9.30 in the evening is somehow irritating. On the way home, my mind was occupied with childish and silly thoughts. I was just wondering if those technicians who are responsible for switching off the electricity would get confused about switching off the right button. I was wishing the confusion to happen. I did not like to remain in the dark for hours, especially today. This had never happened to me before but today, I did not feel like sitting in the dark even for a minute.
My second thought was telling me that, no, technicians would never ever commit such a blunder. As I entered my neighborhood, I was surprised to see all the houses glowing. There was no power cut in my neighborhood. Now this was the time when I got into confusion. I was confused about the day, whether it’s Thursday or not?
After reaching home I came to know that the load shedding schedule had changed and it’s not new to hear the new load shedding schedule change every now and then.
So, I guess this was the moment where my wish was met with a small yet miraculous help from a co-incidence.
