Boldest Decision

People sometimes make great decisions in their life. In this context I would like to post a superb decision made by my son.

My son just celebrated his 25th birthday. He has finished his studies and is working as a sales agent in a multinational company. I have noticed a lot of his friends getting married and starting a responsible life. My son remains quite occupied as he is too much devoted to his work. I have never come to know about his personal activities and I was a bit worried about his bachelor’s life. Most of my friend’s sons and daughters have already married and this made me think over my son’s married life.

It was only last Friday that he came up to me telling me about a girl. I was glad that he considered me as a good person to discuss such matters. He told me that he was in love with a girl and soon he will be bringing her to us as a daughter in law for us. While explaining his conditions he seemed to be a bit worried. Upon my inquiry he told me that we would not happily accept his girl as a daughter in law. He did not explain any more. I then agreed to his commitments and promised him to accept his girl as our daughter in law in whatever the circumstances be. I asked him to bring his girl to our place the next day and he agreed as well.

The following day, he came home a bit earlier than usual. He entered the room as we all were there waiting for our soon to be daughter in law to show up. As soon as the door opened I saw my son pushing a wheel chair. On that wheel chair was a girl who wore dark glasses and had no legs and introduced her as his fiance........
